Congrats on the new rig, pah150955! It sounds like your dealership is going to take care of your tires; be sure to let us know what you think of them.

Getting 20mpgs on highway and 16 city..not to bad for a big truck! After I run the Michelin tires out I'll get a leveling kit and 18s or 20s tires..

The Motorcraft SP-534 are the latest and greatest. They come pregapped to ~.030". I used a set of feeler gauges set to .032" as to make sure and all 6 came in under that. It seems the supplier has gotten better at keeping the gaps consistent.

2011 F150 Eco twin turbo

Have any of you had the turbo make a swishing noise only while you hit the gas? I just started hearing this noise and it only does it when you hit the gas????

Hi RDNKGAK,

Have you checked in with your dealer about the swishing noise? Send over your year and mileage; I'll check out some options.

Identical problem here, truck lacks the power it used to have. Drove numerous identical trucks, no noise, way more power (and better mileage.) Took it to the stealership, "no issues detected". Tried to go on a test drive to show them, they said they could handle it. Guess not.
