engine coil and connector

ok so I have had trouble with my truck. Service engine light came on and we took it to a mechanic and he said an engine coil and connector need to be replaced. I dont know what kind of connector thats just what my mom relayed to me. Im just wondering how much it will cost for them to fix it and how long it may take them

With the information you have given us, we can't answer that - but I bet the shop can tell you exactly how much it will cost and how long it will take.

Like glc said, limited information, but that's something you can do at home with basic hand tools, and your basic skills. Either way, good luck with it!
