2013 ecoboost FX 4 blown motor
blew my motor too
OK, well I bought a new 2012 F150, driving a lot for work I lifted it, exhaust, air intake and then SCT tune. Blew the motor at 39K.. motor was covered and rental was covered. I paid 25 dollars for the tax of the rental and that was it. I think every dealer is so different its a shame. But I'm at 50k now and this motor isn't making the same boost. When it blew first time making 16 stock boost. Now barely making 12
anyone know why? I'm about to replace the intercooler, waste gate solenoid and actuators and bovs from turbo smart (stage3motorsports)

Yes, when the motor blew I return the truck to stock. Took the tuner itself out with me when the truck was towed. They asked me if I ever had a tuber in it and I said nope. That was the extent of it. Apparently piston was sucked into crank case ? I believe that is what he said.
