Anyone know or have experience if you can get to the IMRC valves easier with the transmission out? Im doing a clutch/slave job soon in my 99 F-150 4.2 and would like to knock them out at the same time if possible. My truck has been throwing the IMRC codes for a little while. Thank you in advance!

Which exact codes? Some of them are possibly indicative of a different issue.

I believe no matter what, the upper plenum has to be removed for full access.

Ill have to get the exact codes, but it threw 2 codes and when I looked into them the both referenced the IMRC. I am planning to check the grommet that holds the linkage first and make sure they're not binding. my plan after that is to change them out (245,xxx miles). I was just hoping to get at them while the transmission was out. Oh well its just a little wrench time
