5500 mi on my `01. Doing just fine. Just switched to 87 octane from 93 on my last fill up. We'll see if that changes much.

16,450 miles on my y2k, only 2 problems are the leaf springs getting replaced at 5,000 miles, and I now have the infamous drivers side door crack. Neither of these are engine related so all is well.

I have 56K with an even mix of hwy/cty, and some towing thrown in. The heater just went dead, but I suspect it is an easy fix. Other than that, it has been extremely durable. Even the tires are original, and they still look pretty good.

not f150 related, but my 87 bronco II has a 2.9l v6. has about 151,000 miles on it. has never had any major engine work. doesnt burn oil and the lifters barely tick (common for the lifters in the 2.9 to tick) has all horses it needs to beat a 4.0 v6 and its stock.....cant wait to add my k&n if i decide to keep it

My 00 HD150 already has 10,000kms on it. I got it in Jan/01. Problems with the PATS system, it would not read the code from the key. Had to get it on the hook three times. No problems with the engine. My 98 F150 STX had 70,000 miles on it when I traded it for the HD. Engine was still strong, but gas mileage was down to 12 mpg. My dad has a 97 F150 4x4 5.4L with 160,000kms on it, not a single problem with engine.

My 1998 F150 XLT SuperCab w/4.2L V6, 5 spd. w/Superchip is getting ready to roll over 57,000. Ford makes the best looking and running pick-up ever. I have this nightmare sometimes were I walk out to the driveway to go to work and there sits a Toyota Tundra, I start vomiting profusely all over it. Truck on!

39,000 miles. Owned it for 5 weeks. No problems so far. Finishing up the service (fluid changes, tire rotations, etc.) this week.

Putting in Amsoil differential and tranny fluid.

Hey Hunt4Fun, great picture! I thought I was looking at my F150. Same color but different factory alloy wheels. I bought some ArmourAll car wash recently and it really brings out the luster of that paint. I also use Mothers car polish/wax. Enjoy your ride! Billy 12 string

Cool

Thanks for compliments. Great minds think alike!

I've been using Zaino products for my truck since I bought it 6 weeks ago.

Zaino products? I've never heard of them. I was hanging out with my wife at Target and they had the ArmourAll stuff on sale. I am really pleased with it. From the looks of the picture Hunt4fun, Zaino stuff compliments an already great looking truck and paint! Thanks for the picture!
