If you have the 3.08 gears then its gonna be slow, if you have bigger tires with an auto on 3.08 its gonna be reeeeaaalllly slow. Lower gears could really give you a nice pickup....say 4.10 especially if you were ever thinking about getting larger tires. I think someone was running 4.30 on stock tires before for some real pickup.

The swaybar helped out alot in reducing lean in corners. Right now I just have the 308 gears which have been reduced to 297 because of taller tires. Hope to have 410's installed sometime. If I decide to keep it. But yeah, go with the Hellwig. Ive had mine on for 3 years with no problems

thanx. Ive got 285/70/16's and 3.08 gears. I believe im in desperate need of some gears (3.73's?), but im not sure if i want to keep with the tall tires. they measure 31" tall. i definately like the width, but they dont look wide at all, must be the HUGE profile. definately going with some kind of limited slip (auburn?) cause it pisses me off every time a tire lights up. my other ford has a detroit locker and i love it, but think its a little too harsh for the streets.
