4.2 with Ntirous
Just wanted to know how difficult it is to install nitrous on this truck?
I have done a few fuel injected cars in the past few months. But haven't taken the time to figure out where everything is on the 4.2L
I have a 1998 manual. Where is the regualtor mounted? Do you think I need an external(supplimental) fuel pump. I have a T-rex off my Vortech kit that I had on another car. Where can I find a switch that will kick on when the TPS shows 1.0 volt or full throttle. I want to make this as easy and clean as possible.
Anybody out there that has nitrous on there truck? How does it feel?
My current mods for my 1998 F-150 Base Truck, no options. Very Light! I have Filter, Race Exhaust, JBA headers, and 4.30 gears/Auburn Pro. Plan to add Nitrous and a custom chip. Truck hauls *** now, really gets up and moves. With the 4.30's I can't keep the tires on the road anymore, its awesome. Plus I can tow my race car and not even know its behind me! Thanks in advance...
