only thing I can think of is either the cable or the gear that operates the odometer. I do haft to warn tou about this info I have is based on older trucks not newer F150.

Wink

Thanks--for the info.
The problem must be in the gearing up in the dash related to the trip button.

If you want your odometer to quit use the trip clear button all the time!.
every two hundered miles clear it.

Here is a simple, stress free way to fix the odometer............when you get ready to sell it, take it to the dealer and say "my odometer quit, I musta only gone 10 miles since then so I need to get it replaced so I will know how far I go." When it gets outa the shop sell it.
