Question Alright...... One More Exhaust Question

seems as though everyone goes with a muffler that has 2 1/2" outlets. you also hear of losing torque once this is done. if i were to use 2" duals would this reduce some of this torque loss but also be better on the top end compared to stock configuration. has anyone else used a setup like this or even a 2 1/4" setup?? any info on this would be appreciated as i plan to do my exhaust soon before my girlfriend spends the money ive (we'ved) saved!!

Cool

hi , i have a flowmaster single muffler (40 series) , one pipe in and two out. i have two 2.5 inch pipes comming out of the muffler. i was told that with true duals , i would lose alot of torque because there wouldnt be enough back presseue. i think that the 2.5 inch is a good setup for my truck. i didnt feel any lose of torque at any rpm , or point of acceleration , but it feels like it has more torque now then before. im sure you will get a few more replys from other f150onliners.
