Cool still doing 100MPH on the freeway....

i turned in my truck for a local checkup with the FORD MOTOR COMPANY OF THE PHILIPPINES and i had them checked thru their computer about my speed limiter setting..and it did turn out that my speed limiter setting is set at 105...no wonder i can easily reach 100 while a couple of my friends f150 here in the philippines can only do up to 95mph and 98mph...so iam glad to have one truck that been set up for the top end ...i am willing to bet 10,000 dollars to the person who would want to challenge me on this...i even removed the lousy jet module just to check if it still does 100 and it still does....mike,superchip, sorry i wasnt able to fly stateside to get that superchip i am desiring...maybe this christmas i'll fly to buffalo new york and then i'll contact you for that....still am desiring that darn chip!!! ..ford philippines here removed my PCM and conducted their routine check on the file on my pcm...i told them just to let it be and dont touch a thing...hehehe..your right mike troyer, that jet module was apiece of ''''!!!..i have better performance with my KN filter

MIKE, actually i just found out that they have a superchip distributor here in the philippines ...it's called mancor trading...but i made a call to them and their prices are like 3x times higher than your and they still cant determine if they have one for the 4.2 v6..they have for the 4.6 v8 and the 5.4v8...plus...you might have to leave your truck with them for a day or two so they can run a pcm check...i said forget it !!! i'd rather buy it from a direct distributor like you...i think 3times higher is crazy...any way i dont do a lot of 100mph ..only when i go to the former US clark air base and the former us naval base here in the philippines.. i go there to eat some GENUINE AMERICAN BRED 100PERCENT ALL NATURAL TENDERLOIN STEAK !! HEHE... chow mike!!

HI Danny,

Nice to hear from you again, and I'm very glad to hear that you were able to determine that your top speed limiter is set at 105.

I also wrote another post in your first thread, about doing 105, that you might want to read, if you haven't already, but you probably have by now.

I remember very well all of our discussions, and I know how bad you want the Superchip. It will happen in time, whenever your circumstances permit.

In the meantime, please be careful running those high speeds!

All the best,

Danny I bet your Whimpy v6 truck can't do 140mph like my 96 Mustang GT could do when I had it and it was all stock no mods.
