Unless it's been tuned out, the speed limiter will keep you from pulling all the way up in 4th. With 3.55's and stock size tires, 5000 rpm in 4th is around 125. You may want to do the pull in 3rd, 5 grand would be about 85.

I got my truck dyno tuned last week with a livewire
Before tune: 144 hp ( i have 33" tires) and air/fuel ratio of 14.73. Very lean, apparently my intake was causing it.

After 6 pulls: 165 hp and 13.8 a/f ratio. Thats a 25 hp gain! or 18% gain, simply from a tune.

I'm away from home right now, so i dont have my dyno sheets with me, and i can't remember what my before and after torque numbers were, but i remember gaining 20 ft-lbs of torque with the tune.

Oh, and i understand I have a low post count on this site, (i post more on v6f150.com) so to prove I'm not making stuff up, heres a vid on youtube. Enjoy, and let us know what gains you get!

I wouldn't have been the lowest numbers! A old BMW went on there putting out 120/125. and a new Honda Civic Si was only putting out 200/150

That's wonderful.

A new civic si was putting out 200 at the wheels? That's actually pretty impressive. That's what they're rated at stock at the crank.

so was i....

it was okay that is was a mixup, i was pissed after getting there at 9am, and waiting through 17 cars, they come up to me at 5pm and tell me that I won't be able to pull. They knew from the beginning but for some reason decided to let me waste a whole day and blow my excitement right as I'm setting the truck up

F-that. Especially since you were there at 9 in the morning and didn't tell you till 5 at night. I would never go back to that place and I'd be sure to let ALL my family members and friends to take their business elsewhere.
