4.2 supercharger

Hey guys......how hard or expensive do u think it would be to get an adapter made up to install a charger off of a GTP and put it onto a 4.2?

Easier to just make a bracket and turn a crank pulley for a vortech, procharger, powerdyne etc. You would have a good low end with the positive displacement but not such a good upper mid to top end with the Eaton plus all the heat.

Actually, the easiest thing to do is get a turbo, get a small fluid pump and cooler for the oil (or tap into the oil off the block). Then get new injectors, a walbro 255 lph pump, and get it dynoed and tuned. Do it remote, like under the truck.

many people want a supercharger for a specific reason. i actually believe mating an M82/112 would be easier than a remote turbo install. but putting forced induction on a vehicle not made for it is just asking for problems if not done right. heat, pressure, stress = premature failures. dont forget the transmission and driveline and then the brakes to balance the higher speed. lot of work
