Valve Lash Adjustment...

Is there any set proceedure or anything different about the 4.2l V6 as far as valve lash adjustment?

I'm getting like a ticking from 1100 rpm to around the 2000 rpm range and it sounds like valve lash.

Actually the dealer is paying for anything wrong with the Dodge... which is good.

But back to my F150, I don't think I have lifter noise... it's just normal. I listened to it more this morning before I left work and it just sound like the timing chain.

The f150 is running great though.

You sure it's not injectors or an exhaust leak?

Well, from the sound of it.... it might be the injectors... but it doesnt sound like an exhaust leak.

Where are the injectors on this engine?

Right next to the valve covers up top. If you can see the fuel rails, you can't miss them.
