Water Pump issue, need advise

Due to lack of a good digital camera, i'm not able to get a picture of the water pump/fan clutch i'm working on. But have found a good picture to explain what i've got going on.

Bolt #5 in picture above was rounded off last night trying to remove the fan clutch from the WP. Beyond spinning it twice around the corners, i havn't touched it at all. Talked to a few other people trying to get advise, and not sure where i want to go from here.

I'll be attempting to remove the bolt sometime tomorrow or Sunday with a vise grip, and it's currently soaking in PB blaster to try and loosen the rest of the bolts up. I was able to crack one loose and stripped the second one i went for, and started to slip on the third as well. Now the question is, does anyone else know a better way to remove the stuck bolt out other than a vise? While not damaging the pulley beyond use.

I'm still trying to decide electrical fan or not, but i've got plenty of reading to do before i go posting many more questions up. I know exactly what i'd have to do, how much each option will cost me, but not sure if i feel like toying around with a truck with the following conditions:

1997 4.2 v6, 4x4 manual, with tach, standard cab, short box, black/brown in color with rust, salvage title, and has gone though this:

More than once in it's life.

Any ideas on a way to get that bolt out would be awesome. I'm open to plenty of ideas, but it's not enough room to get a socket on it. Wrench only and i'm having trouble finding a long handled 10mm.

I have a fan out in the polebarn that would work for what i'm gonna do if i go electric. Problem is, i have the pump off, fan blades won't come off untill the fan clutch is removed as i see it. And i can't remove it without removing bolts on the #5 position and at any rate, i need it off to get the core charge back on the pump, and need that pulley as well. Fan clutch is shot, i can spin it around 3-4 times with just one finger and it gives almost no resistance.

All i would need as of now is a few hangers to hold the fan up, and a thermo switch from hayden for about $30 though work for the good one. I work at a parts store but this is the first time i've ever worked on a vehicle with a fan clutch, so that part is all new to me.

Give me a DSM and i'll have the water pump replaced and timing back on in about an hour, two if i take my time and have a beer or two.

Yes, i have the water pump off with the fan clutch still bolted to the pulley. The bolts holding both the pulley on the water pump and the thermal fan clutch are still on. I haven't tried removing the fan clutch but i will be giving it a go tomorrow, it's been soaking in PB blaster the past 3-4 days so removal should be easy.
