Yeah about how much do efans go for? And what gear ratio would you guys recomend for a nice speedy take off but also have a good towing ratio and fuel efficent? Also is that $900 adapter for a supercharger that adapts the M112 the only kind?

what gears are you running now... Ive got the 3.55's and think theyre great
good towing gear... speed...mpg....etc..

3.08 better gas mileage = not good for speed or towing
3.55... like i said
4.10...good for 4x4 bad for mpg

Yes the only adapter avail for sale anyway is for the M112... I dont mean any offense but I wouldnt try to jump into turbo or superchargers just yet unless you got a lot of cash to throw at it and can afford to have your truck down for at least weeks if not months while your getting all your install and tunes done.
This is a project I plan on doing also but not until I really dont need my truck and I can afford for it to be just a toy.

There are no "bolt on" superchargers or turbos for our trucks!!! It is a major custom project that should not be taken lightly.

practically, it is quite simple. a special tool takes off the mechanical fan from the engine and just take off two screws to remove the shroud. then just place your efans behind the radiator and bolt down. the time-consuming part is wiring up the controller.

The only other place I know besides Morana to get an M112 adapter is from www.supersixmotorsports.com. But that one is more of box so it may cause some clearance issues while Morana's is just a plate. Not even sure if Morana has even set a price for his adapter plate yet.

I'm not sure what gears i have i doubt its 4.10 since my truck is a 2wd so im guessing it is 3.55 but i can not find that sticker that says it ive seen some people mention it but cant find it on my truck. What about tires for a 20 inch rim or my stock 18's a good A/T thats cheap in price but bigger and could fill my wheel well nicely and add a few inches maybe with a leveling kit on the front?

Shoul be a sticker on the side of driver door look for axle code.... not sure when or if the #'s changed but 18=3.08 19=3.55 and there are diff ones if you have LSD

I like the firestone destination A/T.... not sure what sizes for ya I got stocker 16's

I found my sticker i have the 3.55 gears and my sticker says i have 17 inch rims but i measured the inside diameter and got 18 inch and the truck was just owned by 2 different dealerships before me as a run around truck. Is this normal or no? and what would be about the biggest tire i could fit on a 20 inch rim on my truck?

For your 4.2L V6, stick with bolt on mods. Cold Air Intake, Exhaust, Underdrive Pulley, Electric Fans, 4.10 gears, and a custom tune will round it out. You can also consider a tranny cooler, + Mag Hytec tranny pan & diff cover.

Without a lift, I would stick to 30" tires, no matter which wheel size you choose to run. Just remember that when you're getting aftermarket wheels, you have to stick with OEM backspacing without a lift. With a lift, you'll need to get whatever the lift manufacturer specifies.

Ok what kind of CAI wold you guys recomend? My dad has a K&N drop in replacement filter in his F250 diesel and we noticed some pick up in it. Thena friend of mine as a full AEM Brute Force Cold air kit on his F350 and he blows smoke. And i do rerlieze that those are diesels and mine is a gas engine. So what would be best for the 4.2?

If you are in CA, make sure you get one with a CARB EO#.
