I tried the dash DTC and i got 5284 and d262. Could anybody tell me what they mean and what does all the other stuff mean on the menu. it's a 2004 heritage 4.2 V6 auto.

 

I got the same d262 code so Im wondering what it is too...

 

try to google the trouble codes and see what you get. You might have selected the wrong diagnostic function...

 

d262 is listed beside dtc on the menu.

 

i looked up those codes on google and 5284 shows for oil pressure switch failure. and d262 showed for missing PCP code. i put the oil pressure switch on and the code 5284 is still on but d262 is gone. the oil pressure hand on the dash shows good pressure. but the digital shows 000. how do i reset the DTC's.
