Happy with VMP tunes.

Well I took a trip to a little place called Garner State Park in West TX, about 290 miles, and was the maiden voyage for my new VMP 87 mileage tune. On the way there i averaged ~70 mph w/ AC on 90% of the time. Before a quick fill up in Hondo, i got 251 mi on about 12.4 gal, which comes out to about 19.8.

on the way back though was a different story. battled the outer bands of Hurricane Dolly, so headwind was blowing about 15-25 mph straight out of the East, which is the way we were headed. averaged about 66-67 mph with AC on the whole drive home. still averaged 18.5 on the tank!

all i have to say is i cant wait to see good driving conditions, so i can see what it can really do now!

thanks for the tunes Justin! im loving them already!

With a 91 performance tune, I get just a little bit more when I punch the accelerator, and my highway miles are always in the mid 20's. I wish all of my driving could be on the open road. But alas, I have to live in The City with average speeds of 15 MPH and only get 8-10 MPG.

How long did you have to wait for your tuner?
