That is only the motor, not to the wheels, you know.

Dont get any hp from forged internal, unless you up the compression, but in your case you will go lower for the FI.

im sry i got so defensive. its that everyone i talk to underestimates the 4.2l and i want to show them that it can be built to keep up with the big V8's. im not looking for a 10 second truck. But im looking for a build that i can be happy with the power and take it out cruising and have ppl be impressed with it. Maybe i wasnt real with the numbers and i apoligize. but ive torn the engine apart and have added the power pack and put in the forged internals am talking to a guy about the turbo setup. Im also trying to find a plce where i can dyno this thing closer to where im staying. does anyone know of a good transmission to bolt to my engine that will be reliable and stand up. Id preffer a manual but im not sure im going to be able to find one.

The transmissions in these trucks run off the computer and for a swap they have to be swapped also. IMO thats gonna run into way to many problems. Id suggest you build your current transmission! then you know its breaking point!

gonna get some pics up of your truck?
