255fuelpump, 42# injectors,90mm maf

okay, so in the very near future a few friends and i will be putting on a turbo kit (i know turbo kits dont exist but another friend built it so in this case this is a kit)

i need to put in the 255 walbro and 42# injectors and 90mm maf before i do the turbo kit to save some time....

would a mail order sct xcal2 tune be all i need to safely run this stuff on my n/a truck for a little while until the kit is installed?

any info would be great

thanks!

PTK makes a turbo kit for our trucks, and i believe there is one other, and i would find a good dyno shop to get it tuned right with this in NA, give whatever tuner a call that you plan on using and ask them, Mike, Sal or whoever. good luck. what size turbo you plan on running singe t67?

right now im going with a t57, i thought ptk only made turbos for the Lightning? I've also read nothing but bad about ptk.

so it would be better to get a dyno tune for the injectors maf and 255 walbro eh?

i'll be installing the turbo with a few friends in the dallas area (i live in houston) and so i need to be able to drive it up there with the injectors/maf/fuelpump and also drive it locally for a while until i can make it out there to the dallas area and install this kit for a few days

i would wait till the turbo was on and hooked up to do all the supporting mods, IE MAF, injectors and pump, then get it dyno tuned, i suspect you would have drivability issues if you did it the other way. and onestly i can not comment on PTK as i have never used them other than get some headers for a turbod mustang.

If you let justin or someone know at purchase I'm sure you can get 2 separate tunes for what you want. But it will cost more, and then you will be spending money that cound go in to the turbo.

Hope you and techmike have fun with the install when/if you purchase Mr. P's kit.
