Front cover crank seal

Alright, I know my front seal is leaking oil. I I cleaned everything up real good and started my truck and after about 5 mins. a little dribble of oil came out between the seal and crank and ran down. So I pulled the balancer and looked at the seal but I can't figure how to get it out. Anyone have any ideas the best way to get this thing out without damaging something. I thought about a screw driver and hammer but was afraid to start prying on the seal and accidentally might crack the cover. Any ideas would be appreciated.

A screwdriver or a seal puller tool will work just fine. Just be careful not to knick the crank or put too much pressure on the cover.I like to put a dab of RTV around the outer edge of the seal lip before installing the seal into the cover.
