intake

well on to my next question, now that i have my new exhaust you know i can't stop there, my question is what is the best intake? i have heard the k and n cold air intake is second to none but i would like to get some input from the people who know fords the best, ford owners. if anyone has any ideas please let me know.

K&N only makes a drop in filter for our trucks. I would go with the Airaid intake or the Air Force One intake, they both put out the same #'s (and are both full intakes like the k&n generation 2) but the Airaid is cheaper, I got mine for about 180. Well worth the money.

MAC also makes an intake for our truck. I belive it is the cheapest, or used to be.

I just installed an airaid intake on my truck. 03 scab DSG 4.2

Although I only drove it around one day....in my mind theres a performance increase hehe.

oh wells anyways i just like the look of the huge exposed airfilter in my hood.

also it was like 170 bux on ebay. cant beat it!
