Awsome truck

I have a 2003 f150 singlecab, i have 148,125miles on my 4.2 v6, I added a Airaid intake, airaid throttle body spacer, a dual electric fan, and i have been adding 10/30 quakerstate horsepower full synthetic OIL, and my truck is running like brand new out of the lot, with more horsepower of course.

I got a 00 with 160,000 ive had it since 100,000 and the only thing i've doneto it was but an Alternator on it , That was only for the close to 200 Ft of neon i have in it. Otherwise Its still strong keep the oil changed and If you have one around Dont put mapco fuel in it. That cause me to drain the gas and clean the whole fuel Delivery system.

Also got a vid of me and my friend (his '95 Toyota Camry) racing. I was about 2 miles away before he gave up

sorry buddy but dodges didnt offer the 5.7 hemi until 2003 so you either raced a 5.2 or 5.9 and a 5.9 only makes like 245hp n 335 ft lbs. and any hemi truck shood smoke you bc my buddy has a 03 ram 2500 with a hemi and he blows my doors off lol

Aint broke in till you hit 100K

117K + miles on my 2003 Supercab. Only had it for a couple of months so I don't know what was done before that but it looks stock and very well cared for. This site is great. Already I have used this site to find out about the little fuse that kept my trailer right turn signal and brake light from working and also how to clean the MAF sensor.

my 97 4.2 base manual was born in july 1996. It currently has 126k.

-Replaced gaskets at 60k as per forum recommended when my coolant ran low. Coolant seems to still mysteriously evaporate a bit.

-Gone through 2 new batteries.

-Shot grease into "greaseless" boots into suspension joints, to remove squeaks.

-Replaced faulty Firestone tires that Ford did not recognize for f-150's, but same exact flaw as explorer tires.

-Heater core replaced.

-My ignition socket got unstuck. Replaced for 200-300 bucks.

-3 attempted breakin's, 1 successful, but no repairs required.

I change oil about once every 7k. with 10w-30.

I have 167000 on my 99'. Only about 2500 are mine but from what the owner told me everything is original and he had no problems. I did however just have a starting issue a little earlier today that scared me. I tried a couple times to start it and the starter and everything sounded fine it just wouldn't turn over. Well I put the hood up and looked at the engine, trying to look like I knew what I was doing, with the hood still up I tried again and it started. I have no idea why it did that but I started it again a little later and it started right up .
