I'd stick with the Superchip. Never heard of the Fordchip.

both make a good chip and fordchip makes chips for more than just v-6

i remember one member got banned b/c he talked about it or something....
should be on urban legion list.
that member would not let it go, made claims that were NEVER backed up and on others boards has finally admitted that while fordchip makes a good chip customer service is not good. so he got booted for taking a stand that now, turns out was not so good.

some of the people from fordchip are working on the sct software and so i dont know if the people at fordchips are still doing it or if fordchip is second chair to the sct.

i think fordchips place in the market is doing dyno days were they come to a town and tune cars on a dyno, if you have a lot of mods it is hard to deny that this would be the best way. if your mods dont include head work cams or superchargers then how much do you need a custom chip. if you get a custom tune for a throttle body, pulleys and a glass pack then IMO you have wasted your money.

if you have a handfull of mods and want a chip without the hassel then mike t. with superchips is hard to beat. he even has a phone that he answers.

I have a superchip...

Can't say if its crappy tuning because its the only one I have ever had, but I am happy with it. Also, I have had great customer serives with the chip! I wrote a few emails and made a few calls (all of which were answered) in order to get the chip working (partly/mostly due to installer error...I didnt know I had to scrape the coting off the contats with a screwdriver).

Any SCT (Superchips Custom Tuning) dealer can burn a chip for your gears and tires. Email me justinv6@bellsouth.net I'll point you in the right direction.
