Do a search. You'll find mixed feelings.

DO you ahve a performance chip? A Superchip might get you more of what you want and safer that the B&M. Check the Computer Chip forum. Try a post there or cal Mike Troyer for some insight.

Thanks for the re-ply ,still trying to figure out what I am doing ,want to install FIPK, Cat-Backs, just thought the B&M Shift Plus might be a good alternative to transmission re-work.

I have the shift plus with a superchip. Everything is working fine so far. I usually leave it on I, II is pretty firm. Have had it for several thousand miles. No problems to report.

I haved a B & M shift kit on mine too--I also, leave it on No. 1, and only use it when I'm pulling my 8600 lb. 5th wheeler. No problems. Also have Mobil 1 synthetic in trans--supposed to keep trans temp down 20-50 degress as compared to dino fluid, with longer change intervals

I've got almost 20k miles on my B&M Electronic shiftplus kit and no problems. I love it. It was an easy two wire hookup and installation took less than 45 minutes and no teardown of the trans was needed.

If you're interested I've got some of these kits left. They are unused and in original packaging.

And as for that last comment; I have no complaints for any B&M products. But I did see a post here recently about Bauman kits causing intermediate shaft failure.
