Trans noise
I have a 99 f150 4x4 sc 5.4.
I had my engine replaced due to PS and ever since I hear this noise that sounds like fluid swishing around. It only does it when I am moving. It seems like it is coming from the trans. Also it shifts great on load, but when I let off the gas and apply the brakes when coming to a stop you can feel it downshift. Once and awhile it will even cherp the tires when it downshifts to a lower gear (keep in mind I am not even touching the gas pedal). Again it downshifts great under load and upshifts fine.
Any ideas.
