Post Speedo correction?

I have a 99 F150 S/C with the 4.6 auto and 308 gears. I just added 275 tires and my speedo is too slow. Will a chip fix this or will I need to play the speedo gear change. I have a digital odeometer if it matters.

Any Ideas.

Thanks

Terry,

You need to figure out the revolutions per mile of the new tires then take that info to your dealer and have them change the computer to that new number. I'm sure the dealer will charge you a minimal amount. Check with the tire shop or the manufacturer of the tires to get that number.
