Shift Technology Products
My trans Guru, one who is well respected by most HiPo nuts around here uses Shift Technology Products (a division of Superior Transmission Parts) exclusively.
I have a lot of repect for his abilities as he was the only one who could build a Turbo 350 trans that would live behind my Turbo'd Chev in a Buick Regal and also the 700-R4 for my Typhoon.
Has anyone ever heard of / used one of their kits in a 4R70? Comments, suggestions, cool, garbage--anything pro or con.

Funny that you mention this. My transmission guy, who works at a Chevrolet dealer, said that for the 4R70W he prefers the Superior kit. He said the installation is simple and that the kits were very effective. Had I known that before ordering my Transgo, I would've gotten one of those. The cost is only $30 here in Tallahassee. We are also having some issues with the Transgo. According to Transgo the Solenoid Valve is hanging causing the tranny to pop out of gear when juicing it.
He also said that Superior is located here in Tallahassee and that all R & D is done here so if you have questions it is local for us. I really trust this guy and he is actually the shop foreman in the transmission shop for our Chevy dealer. He is only 25 but has been building motors and transmissions since he was 15. We'll see what happens. Problem with diagnosing Transgo problems is that we are east coast and they are west coast.
If anyone has any suggestions, let me know.
