Question

OK, I know from experience that the valve body kits work. I thought I'd try something new. I see several good points to the B&M shift Plus.
1. easy to install, no need to drop the pan.
2. switchable performance off-firm-firmer
3. it's cheap
Do they really work? I like the fact that I can revert to stock by flipping a switch. I've heard they fry trannies, but I think that's BS. Let me know what you think.

Did not really do a lot in the Lightning. I could feel only a slight difference.

Isn't this the same thing a Banks TransCommand and the Superchip do with the shift points?

A steal at $35

Well I'm changing my axle gear ratio from 3.08 to 4.56! A definate requirement for the 33" tires I'm running. I have a feeling the trans may shift a little differently with the lower gears. If it still seems mushy after the gear change, I think I'll try the B&M unit. Thanks for the info everybody.

Question

JET also makes a plug in tranny module that is more expensive than the B&M unit and has more settings I believe. I have seen it in the Summit Racing catalog. Any one have any experience with these either?
