There are several posts relating to shift kits here; you might want to read through them before making any decisions.

I intalled the TransGo Performance Shift Kit in my 2001 Supercrew with the 4R70W transmission. I specifically ordered the AODE kit which came with all the valve body spring upgrades, valve upgrades, paper instructions, and a super detailed video. The whole thing cost $125.00 - worth every penny so far.

The shifting is alot of fun when you want to have fun! I can physically controll the shift points with the gas pedal by listening and watching the RPMs. It's fun too the put the petal down and let it bang through the gears; I hope this thing holds together, I might have to re-tighten all the bolts in the truck before long.

There was a good forum at the end of Sept through part of October that was really good, it helped me to decide to buy the Transgo shift kit, installed it this weekend really like it so far. You can go back and search for it, the title had something about shift kits in it, not much help but the search tool should help.

I got my shift kit from truckperformance.com for $97 and some change.
