Pressure plate for a core, Longshot?

It looks like I need an '88-'94 E series Super duty pressure plate & all I need is a core.
What are the odds that someone has a spare?

pressure plate for what?

'88-'94 E series Super duty. Sounds like F series may be the same.
Sometimes called a "clutch cover"

I didn't know the E-series vans were available with a manual transmission?

I don't understand why you would need a core. New pressure plates aren't that expensive, and I don't know if I'd trust a rebuilt.

which transmission model and which clutch cover? there are 4 clutches in each transmission... each of them have a pressure plate.

need more detail to answer your question

mitymerc 04-16-2018 08:48 PM

is it a manual or automatic transmission

IH man 04-17-2018 06:39 PM

I naively assumed that only Manual transmissions had pressure plates...My bad :)
We are discussing the springy thing that engages/disengages the clutch disk when you step on that peddle to the left.
Not gonna buy someone else a new PP, just need a core that happens to fit another hard to find application.
