hydralic clutch line removal

hi I have a 97 f150 4.6 ive been replacing the clutch and had the issue with the quick disconnect line and had to cut it, was wanting to know how to disconnect it from the clutch master cylinder there doesn't seem to be a clamp are a bolt are anything like that to me wanted to get some info b4 I mangled it trying to replace

You need this:

Autozone carries this ONLY in the store, unless you got a commercial account through their PRO (AutozonePRO).

ive got the tool, but the disconnect was nasty and the disconnect just didn't work like it was supposed to. anyways any idea on how to disconnect the hydraulic hose from the clutch master cylinder so that I can replace the line?
