I was driving just fine then lost drive power like the gears weren’t engaged. The transmission, overdrive, and wrench light all came on. Got it towed home and figured out reverse works just fine. When in park it revs just fine. Trans fluid isn’t burnt or low. Friend that diagnosed it said it was the throttle body actuator/motor. Changed the part out and still the same problem. Curious to see if anyone is or has experienced the same problem. Any help would be great. Thank you.

 

Read out the OBD2 codes with a scanner that can read Ford transmission codes.

 

I will the codes were read a month or so ago. I’m going to have another friend stop and re read them for me. Thank you.

 

A reading from before this problem happened is meaningless. When the transmission, overdrive, and wrench lights came on one or more codes were stored in memory to tell you what's wrong. You need these codes.
