Overdrive not working after replacing snap ring and regulator valve!

So overdrive stopped working and I read all the forum posts that said replace the snap ring and the overdrive regulator valve, and over drive still is not working, does anyone have any ideas of what might still be the problem

A highly educated guess would be that you missed the pocket on the OD band with the pin on the OD servo.

I did not take out the servo so I'm fairly certain that it is in the band. Unless it can slip out somehow when pushing on the servo.

That would make the next most likely possibility that there is a piece of junk stuck in the valve body somewhere.

That's what I thought but I cleaned it out and I have a whole snap ring. but ill take it apart again next weekend and look. are there any other valves that contribute to overdrive other than the regulator valve?

I agree... you either missed the band pocket with the servo pin OR there is still debrs in the OD servo regulator valve.
