2016 xlt sport. 5.0 and auto trans. tow package.

When in normal mode, not sport or tow/haul, when coming to a stop the trans stays in 3rd gear until I come to a stop and then will drop to 1st. Then a slight bump that feels like I was just bumped from behind. Trans tech at the stealership claims that it is normal.

Anyone else have this issue? Have it ad then get it fixed? What can I point them to to show that it is not normal?
