05 f150 installing new TC

The flexplate on my truck ripped off the crankshaft.. installed a new flexplate and the cheap "low stall" TC from o'rielys.. now it shudders at low rpms, only in gear not in park or neutral. When in gear and the brake is down I let off the brake the and truck pulls forward right away at 600-800rpm without pressing the gas.. apply a little gas to get some speed and it wobbles/shudders/missfires.. happens durring little load from acceleration and BRAKING.. geussing the stall is to low and isnt working with the 5.4 3v powerband, since the stock TC starts pulling at 1200 rpm..

THOUGHTS?

How in the world did your flexplate get ripped off of the crankshaft in the first place, and why would you go cheap on such an important part as a torque convertor? Now I believe in saving money, but a torque convertor is not the place to do it.I don't know about an '05, but for my '97 it was only about $120 for the correct one.

My guess is that you have a low grade engine misfire that the low stall converter is making obvious. Fix the misfire and everything will be fine.
