Shudder solved!!

I posted this in the transmission section because I thought the problem was coming from my transmission for quite awhile, and maybe some of you having shudder problems with your truck can learn from it. When I put too much torque on the motor when accelerating, I got a pretty nasty shudder. Since I'm low on cash, I decided to remedy this by simply not accelerating too quickly. This worked for a little bit, but earlier today, I began to pull out of the gas station when I heard a loud pop. I thought it was the end for my tranny!! It ended up being the drive shaft support bearing that holds your drive shaft up to the frame of the truck!! It cracked completely off, leaving the drive shaft hanging by the u-joints. Although my truck has yet to be fully diagnosed, I'm going to be optimistic and say that the support bearing was causing the shudder. When I get everything worked out, I'll report back and possibly provide some info for those interested on the full cause of the shudder. When I get a minute, I'll post some pictures too

Also, I don't know of it matters, but for comparison purposes it's a 5.4L
