so i'm j-modding the 4r70w in my GT and i was wondering if there is supposed to be a gasket in between the stiffener plates and the separator plate itself, i know there's one between the separator plate and where it mounts to the tranny, and the one between the separator plate and the valvebody but still have a 3rd gasket, and i'm kind of freaken out

there is just one on each side of the seperator plate.

 

that's what i thought but it seems like there should be one between the stiffener plates, and the separator plate, the guy at the parts count must have given me an extra gasket. thanks
