my 1990 f150 4x4 v8 truck is going 1,2, and then to fourth anybody got any ideas on why it could be doing this happened after some electrical problem with the ecm and fuel pump

it said E.

 

E is E4OD.

 

okay so its got the E4OD.. if i push the overdrive button it startes to go in third but the skips it back to fourth

 

i just took mine apart and was going to replace the tcc valve ,and wire harness and one more square valve , plus the wire connector, but when i took down the guts from the tranny i found a broken spring front right in thr tranny, 2-3 spring , spring on order i hope that it fix my problem
