Edge,Jmod and Shift kit

Is anyone running this combo on there 97-03 4r70w 4x4 if so how does it shift

ive got the edge cs been thinkin about doing the jmod soon and maybe install a shift kit

jmod is better than any of shift kits out there. The jmod is a shift kit.

i wouldn't do it blake, too many miles on the transmission, just up the pressure on the edge a little bit.

your wrong. The trans will live longer if he J mods it. Do not up the pressure on it too much unless you don't care about replacing it.

I know how the j-mod works and all, i'm just saying, being a transmission with over 200,000 miles.....might not be the best thing.

It provides better shifting by adding more volume rather than pressure. It will increase the life of the trans quite a bit. It reduces slippage in shifting. If the trans was serviced regularly and shows no signs weakness I would not hesitate to j mod it.

true, but i would just leave it be until it fails, rather be safe then sorry. if anything, a larger cooler would be ideal.
