Overdrive light Flashing

I have a 2003 F150 Supercrew 5.4. I had several problems. Auto doorlock would not work, auto head lights did not work. and overdrive switch on gear select did not work. I got out my trusty owners manual and trace the fuses to the inside fuse panel. A .05 fuse common to all issues was blown. I replaced the fuse and it fixed all the problems but now I have a flashing overdrive light. I think it's a bad tranny sensor? any suggestions?

Get your codes read by someone with a proper scanner. There are over 40 possible fault codes that will activate the O/D light and it is impossible to diagnose by osmosis.

If you are having the same problem, you need to follow the same instructions.

if you are not experiencing any transmission concerns besides the light,
a very common cause of problems like yours is the wire that goes to the overdrive switch rubs where the shifter swivels on the steering column, if you remove the shroud around the steering column you can see the wires, it is very common that the wire bends and breaks but will reconnect the circuit with the shifter in certain positions or the wires may short on the steering column as well, you may be able to repair the wires but if it is broke too close to the handle you will need to replace the shifter handle about $50

I will try your suggestion. I see my original post said the light flashes but I meant to say it does not flash, it will stay off after I manually turn it off but comes on when I start the truck and shift to D.
