when cold mostly, but could happen anytime, when I put my foot on pedal even the slightest amout, truck seems to really wind up and then nothing. I was told this is the torque converter. also seems to "shutter" occasionally when getting on highway and trying to build speed. another symptom of the torque converter? if it is, what does it take to be corrected. drives me nuts.
