I have a 99 150 5.4 4x4 and my rear diff cover needs replaced. Looking for soemthing that is rather inexpensive but is gonna last any help!!

hey can you share the info on which one your talking about? I need to do the same thing but I'm trying to get out as cheap as I can.

When I changed out my rear diff the cover definitely had some surface rust on it. I checked with the dealer and they wanted around $50-55 (I can't remember the exact number) for a new cover.

I decided to wait until I had the cover off. Once I had the cover off and cleaned up, it was still very solid. I put it back on with the thought that it will easily last until the next change.
