I have a 2003 ford f-150 supercrew. Today I noticed the OD (Overdrive) light was flashing. Nothing seemed wrong. It was running good and shifting fine. A little later down the road. I noticed a noise coming from somewhere under the truck. Sounded like a clicking noise, only when I'm coming to a stop or accelerating between 1st and 2nd gear. I'm not sure whats going on but the OD light is still flashing. Seems like there may be a problem with the tranny? Any ideas what it might be?

 

When the O/D light is flashing that indicates a malfunction code has been generated. Go to your local trans shop [tranny shops will usually scan for free] and have them scan the code for the trans. Autozone can't scan trans codes with there scanner.
