draining the TC

draining the TC

Is therre a plug on the TC to drain it or how do you go about it? Looking to change the fluid in the trany.

My 97 has it, have to get two people, flashlight and 18mm socket for my truck. Have the one guy look through the peep hole in the bell housing at the TC. The other guy turns the crankshaft pully hub clockwise and the other guy wait until the drain plug becomes accessible through the bell housing.

Your 02 does not have a drain plug. They stopped putting them in after the 01 model.

Some 01s don't have a drain and some 02s do. Just gotta check.
