Hi, my mom has a 95 f 150 with the 4.9 engine. Lately she has been having trouble with getting it into gear, reverse and first are the hardest, once it is moving it goes in but when she is parked it wont. Its a manuell tranny, could it be the fluid? I think if she gets it rolling or feathers the clutch it sometimes goes in, any ideas?

 

Yes, those transmissions are VERY sensitive to fluid level & quality. Has it been checked/changed? If not, prepare for a replacement.
