Changing my slave cylinder today. Anything I NEED to know?

My slave cylinder went bad on my '02 and I have to replace it. I only have 75K and was pretty ticked that I have to do this before 100K. My old '95 had it happen too, but that was at 130K. I know it is a b****, because I have to take off the tranny, but it's been awhile since I did this and I was wondering....

Is there anything specific that I need to do/know when replacing the slave cylinder? Or can I just go in, replace it and be done with it?

Thanks in Advance!

Okay, so I am snagged. I removed the boot for the shifter, but I don't know how to detach it. There is the one nut on it and I removed it, but the threaded bolt won't budge. Shouldn't it slide out and then it will come off?

Yes, I think the pinch bolt has to come out before the shifter will come off the ball stud.
