Problems.98 4r100 - 99 4r100 different?
Hi,
I have a 99 Expedition with a 4r100 XL3P. It needs a new one, I can get easy a 98 4r100 low mile. But I was told that it does not cross reference. I found out that the side electrical hookup should be the same, but the speedometer sener on the 98 is a 8 tooth electric, and the 99 is a different sort of sensor. Does anyone know here if it can be swapped over easily? So I could use the 98 4r100?
