my truck won't shift gears. to drive it you stick it in first then seconond then drive. the tranny has 186,411 miles on it i'm sure its hooped but was just wondering if it could be any thing else. From what i've beet told it has been like this for about 5 or more years its been parked for the last 3. I've been told it could be the torque converter and also told that the tranny would need to be rebuilt.
