tranny gear
 
I need 2 get a tranny gear 4 my truck. I have been told several different tooth gears to get and so can someone help me? I got 488 gears front and rear and 37x13.50 tires.

yea. The gear goes in the tranny and how many ever teeth the gear has it will correct your speedo for the many teeth. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME?

I thought that tunners can correct the ratio's as well..

Well , not on a 97 I guess , they do from 99 on up..

97 and 98 have mechanicals similar to the pre 92's
