Yesterday i changed out the tc(98 f150 4x4 4.6 manual shift), and it was a little more work than i anticipated, however i completed it myself. After that i took the truck out for a test and it all seemed to work well, including running much more quiet. Anyhow i'm certain that when on the hiway the trany kicks down out of overdrive and also into passing gear a lot easier and faster than it used to. Is this possible or is it just power of suggestion/??/

 

I'd say power of suggestion as the transfer case doesn't affect the shifting of the trans.
